Ejemplo: She has finished the report → Ella ha terminado su informe.
Ejemplo: Never has she finished the report so quickly → Nunca había terminado tan rápido.

Ejemplos
- Orden normal: She rarely misses a deadline → Ella rara vez incumple un plazo.
Con inversión: Rarely does she miss a deadline. - Orden normal: He had never experienced such pressure → Él nunca había experimentado tanta presión.
Con inversión: Never had he experienced such pressure.
Ejemplos:
- Orden normal: If you had told me earlier, I would have helped you → Si me lo hubieras dicho antes, te habría ayudado.
Con inversión: Had you told me earlier, I would have helped you. - Orden normal: If she should call, inform me immediately → Si ella llamara, infórmame inmediatamente.
Con inversión: Should she call, inform me immediately.

Ejemplos:
- Orden normal: The meeting had hardly begun when the fire alarm went off → La reunión apenas había comenzado cuando sonó la alarma de incendios.
Con inversión: Hardly had the meeting begun when the fire alarm went off. - Orden normal: She had no sooner entered the office than the phone started ringing → Apenas había entrado en la oficina cuando empezó a sonar el teléfono.)
Con inversión: No sooner had she entered the office than the phone started ringing.
4. Only after, Only by, Only if, Only in this way, Only then, Only when, Not until
Ejemplos
- Orden normal: We understood the problem only after the teacher explained it →Entendimos el problema solo después de que el profesor lo explicara.
Con inversión: Only after the teacher explained it did we understand the problem. - Orden normal: She improved her pronunciation only by practicing daily → Mejoró su pronunciación solo practicando a diario.
Con inversión: Only by practicing daily did she improve her pronunciation.
